How we make money
One capped fee, only when you get paid online.
When a client pays one of your invoices through the hosted payment page, crm-153 keeps 0.5% of the payment — never more than $5. Payments land in your own Stripe account. Mark an invoice paid offline and there's no fee at all.

Stripe's standard card-processing fee applies separately and goes to Stripe. The crm-153 fee is snapshotted per invoice at checkout, so a later pricing change can never rewrite an old payment.
A per-seat CRM earns whether or not you close anything. crm-153 only earns when your clients pay you — so the only way we grow is if the product helps you collect more. Same side of the table.
Pricing questions, answered
- Is there a paid plan I'll eventually need?
- No. There is one plan, it's free, and every feature is in it. There's no Pro badge waiting anywhere in the app.
- What if I never use invoicing?
- Then you never pay anything, ever. The platform fee only exists on optional online invoice payments — the rest of the CRM has no charges at all.
- Does the fee replace Stripe's processing fee?
- No — it's separate and much smaller. Stripe charges its standard card-processing fee (paid to Stripe), and crm-153 adds its own capped platform fee on top. Both are taken from the payment automatically; there's never a bill to pay.
- Can you raise the fee after I've moved my business in?
- The fee applied to each invoice is locked in when your client pays, and your data is never hostage either way — full CSV export is available to every workspace at any time.
- Do I need a credit card to sign up?
- No. There is no billing step because there is nothing to bill.
